Fair warning . . .

I am starting to watch Babylon 5 again.

I am starting with Season 4 because I like the later episodes better.

I will go to Season 5 after that.

I will try not to overburden you with observations.

Do I need to worry about spoliers at this point? Is there anyone out there who has not watched B-5 through but still might want to?

Anyway, so I start with "The Hour of the Wolf," with great Ivanova quotes, Morden as a "shadow" of his former self, and this wonderful quote from Mollari to Vir:

You are the closest thing I have to a friend . . . I am as shocked and dismayed by this as you are... but there it is. I need a friend, Vir. And I need a patriot. And you are both.

[livejournal.com profile] goldsquare, the first part of that quote reminds me of our relationship.

Weekend recap . . .

1. I am finding great success at putting off my work and writing. I have been home for three-and-a-half hours, and I have done a little organization and some room-cleaning. It was kind of cool to get home, because there were a bunch of people over visiting, and there were folks I really enjoy seeing. One of the cool things about living here is that it's never boring.

2. I was coming home from a great weekend in Albany. The coolest part was that [livejournal.com profile] alethea_eastrid and I went to the Farmers' Market in Troy, and we bought the making for dinner, then I made it. We also picked up an amazingly delicious mixed-berry tart. Yay!

3. While I am ecstatic that we won again today -- 10-3 to be exact, but the fact that the Yankees won again does not make me happy. You know what else does not make me happy? The fact if I wanted to, for $27.40, I could go see the Yankees and the Red Sox on Wednesday. That's right. Three days before the frelling game, the *team* still has tickets, and they would cost about the same as a good meal at my favorite resaurant. (Of course, I would have to get to New York and back, so it won't work.) Bah. I love Fenway, but it would be nice to be able to get tickets.
