Looking for help on publicizing EKU
Nov. 7th, 2006 08:50 pmThe Barony of Carolingia will host an East Kingdom University this Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Here are the details, including a pretty impressive class list:
http://delilah.ennui.net/~tpau/eku/eku.html
One of the highlights is a day-long seres of fighting-related classes, but there are topics that hit every area of the SCA.
Site opens at 10 a.m. and class run until 6 p.m.
There will also be an auction to benefit the East Kingdom Travel Fund.
You all probably know all that.
But since the class schedule has just gotten published, we would like to spread the word as widely as we can.
I would like to ask folks to post the above announcement to their local lists.
If you can do any of the following, please respond with the lists you have covered:
Quintavia
Bergental
Mountain Freehold
Stonemarche
Malagentia
Endewearde
Smoking Rocks
Bridge
BBM
Dragonship
Any other place you can think of that would be appropriate is great, but I would like to get those covered, both e-mail and LJ lists.
I am sure there are other topic-specific lists that would be good, too. Just comment as you forward.
Thanks,
Liam
