The morning report . . .

1. I am sure it's gonna be a good day. The newest item in my mailbox says, "CONGRATULATIONS: YOU WON 1,000,000.00 EUROS."

2. I actually feel pretty good this morning, which is interesting because a period before school ended, I got a note from my boss that said I had to hit a major deadline today. Not his fault, I should have been ready. I had to rearrange plans, and I wound up working for four hours to pull the stuff into the kind of shape he wanted. I worked hard on that and on some other school stuff, but I feel really good now.

3. I think I slept for a bit more than six straight hours. I fell asleep shortly after 11 p.m., and I woke up two minutes before the alarm at 5:33 p.m. I remember a lot of lucid dreaming. That's really a pretty amazing amount of time for me. (No, I have not gotten the new sleep mask yet).

4. Of course, I am not happy about the Massachusetts State Legislature and the anti-gay marriage amendment. Globe article
