It's Passion Plunge time again

As some of you may remember, I have been jumping into Massachusetts Bay for the last two years for the Passion Plunge, which raises fund for the Massachusetts Special Olympics.

It's time for Year Three. It will be Feb. 10, 2007, at Revere Beach.

Here is the site to donate. I would be eternally grateful (at least grateful for a whole year ) if you would donate.

If you are local and interested in joining our team, please let me know.

And for those like baronessmartha, who would rather donate to my kids because it might end up with me getting my head shaven or my hair dyed, I expect a couple of students to sign up this weekend. I will post those as I get them.

Perspective

I worry about a lot of stuff.

Some important stuff. Some stupid stuff.

I get frustrated because life doesn't go the way I want it to sometimes (although life is pretty good right now).

I rant and rave about things in the SCA and in newspapers and in LJ communities.

Then I get e-mails like this from one of my National Honor Society officers.

Last night Courtney Corning was killed in a car crash. she was a softball player and a member of our class. can we do something for the family with nhs?

I hate these things.
