On a sunny afternoon . . .
Mar. 30th, 2007 05:31 pmI watched the last third of "For Love of the Game."
I cried, as usual. During the game this time.
Last scene, Billy is at the airport, on his way to London to tell Jane he loves her.
We wanders to the window, then sees her and walks over.
Jane: "I missed my plane. I had to stay at the airport hotel . . . There was this game . . ."
Billy: "You saw it?"
Jane: "With a bunch of Yankee fans . . . grown men . . . crying. It was . . . perfect."
