As a group, we have raised $1390, and personally I am at $880, and there's more coming in. (Those totals count some donations that we handed in today that have not been processed).

"The good kind of crazy?

Yes, I jumped into Lake George today as part of the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics New York.

And, yes, that's a Northern Army tabard.

ladyalethea and zarhooie decided to join me in this endeavor. As my friends have been saying all week, "Liam, you're crazy, but it's the good kind of crazy."

We formed a team called the Shire Of Glen Linn, and while the total is still going up, we have already raised almost $1400, and I am pushing $800 myself. That will probably leave us in fifth place as a group and put me fifth as an individual.

All together, the folks at Lake George raised more than $25,000, and this was only one of five or six similar events being held.

Batten down the hatches!

I have never seen a storm that extended from western South Dakota to New Jersey.
