Monday morning: It may be a long week. ;)

1. The nice thing about living across the street from the doctor's office is that even if you are feeling crappy, it's easy to get there. My sinuses are filled, and there are a couple of other things going on. The second-best thing is when the phramacy is two buildings down from the doctor and on the way to Stewart's.

2. I have a pound of Cafe Caribe Seleccion Supreme Dark Roast Espresso. Can I use that in a regular drop coffee maker?

3. Interesting job posting moved on the SCA Announcements list.

Society Seneschal and Vice President of Operations.

 

The Board of Directors is accepting applications for the position of Society Seneschal (Vice-President for Operations).  This is a part-time, paid position, which requires approximately thirty-two hours per week.

I think I moughta apply just to apply. ;)

But resumes are not due until June.

4. I think there have been more Birka posts from my friends than there were Arisia posts.

5. If I came across as grumpy toward you at Birka, I am sorry. I tried to do too many things, and I got overwhelmed.

The message is, please go to Yankees' blog and see the guest post from Rebecca. That's my dear friend fireroseboudicc. She is a great writer, and even though she is a life-long Yankees' fan, I lover her dearly.

She has a guest spot in a newspaper reporter's blog and writes her own Yankees' blog.

The backstory is this: The blog is written by Peter Abraham, with whom I worked more than 20 years ago. He was in Norwich and is now with the Westchester papers. He and Rebecca became correspondents because she read his blog, and he linked to hers.

Rebecca was a little taken aback when I said casually, "Oh, yeah. I know Pete." ;)
