1. Photos from Wednesday night and yesterday morning. Baby animals and balloons and a covered brudge.

2. Can you say "dickheads?

Columbus Dispatch

Columbus Dispatch reporter Amy Saunders got on the last Skybus flight out of Port Columbus on April 4; she was the only passenger who knew the round-trip tickets would actually be one-way. The Dispatch agreed to an embargo, so "Saunders was told to keep quiet about the looming airline shutdown," writes editor Benjamin J. Marrison. "The nature of what we do sometimes means that we have information that we can't report until a certain time."

3. I don't remember who was talking/posting about pierogies the other day, but that's what we had for dinner.

4. Basic day in the office today, and not a lot of plans for tonight. Woot. Maybe some housecleaning.

1. You know that feeling. Fifty pages to go in a novel and you want to race through it, but at the same time you want to savor the fricking thing.

Yeah. Jim Butcher puts Harry Dresden through Hell a couple of more times in "Small Favor." Amazing. A great read. It makes you want to start re-reading the series again. Excellent character deveopment and really, really nasty critters.

2. I am sorry if I am posting about work too much. It's been a pain. Had a better day today. Really impressed one of my colleagues with the amount of stuff I have done.

3. Another gorgeous day today. One of the wamrmest since we moved up here last August. Everyone's plwoing their fields, and there are baby animals everywhere.

4. I wasn't sure whether to post this or the previous strip, but I wonder if John Kovalic reads "Two Lumps."

5. OK, what's this? (or who is it?) Also from Kovalic.

6. Right now, I am pretty close to going with GULESSOX as my vanity (I was gonna say fantasy) license plate.
