Tuesday evening: My brain is full . . .
May. 20th, 2008 07:40 pm1. Spent the last two days at conferences put on my ACT For Youth, the group I work for. Great stuff. Learned a lot, but my brain is full.
I learned that PowerPoint is old-school and bores kids.
I learned that some adults have never heard of Snopes.
I learned the word "acronymize" and the verb "facebooked."
I learned that for many teens and college students, e-mail is as outmoded as "snail mail."
I learned to "keep my velcro buds" open.
I also was reminded to recommend "A Framework for Understanding Poverty" to everyone.
2. Weekend plans?
War of the Roses?
Panteria?
Other?
3. Speaking of which, is there anyone who could pick up a box in Waltham and bring it to Roses?
4.

xgreenjudasx think of you. That is all.
5. I am praying for Ted Kennedy.
6. I still cannot get over Jon Lester's no-hitter.
