1. Heather Dale writes:
Greetings everyone!
Ben and I just finished (as of yesterday) a brand new CD called "The Green Knight". It's a return to my medieval re-enactor roots, with 14 new songs inspired by the Middle Ages and Renaissance. It just went into the factory... I'll let you all know when it's available!
I'm just about to run out the door to do a concert at Toronto's Princess Margaret hospital -- plus as of this afternoon we're off on another tour, this time between Winnipeg and Quebec City. This tour is extra special because we'll have a four-piece touring band for the first time: myself, Ben for guitar and fiddle, Jason Sonier for bass, and John Stadtlander for percussion. That takes us through June, then Ben and I head down to California for a tour in July, followed by the Confluence sci-fi convention and the SCA's Pennsic medievalist event in Pennsylvania. Lots on the go, as always... gotta run... :)
Cheers, Heather.
The Pennsic show is Wednesday night of War Week. Tell me it's not opposite EK Court.

3. Their Majesties of the East will be putting out a third polling for peerages and high orders of merit.
Details here:
Greetings!
Their Imperial Majesties will be conducting a third polling. The deadline for submissions is July 5, 2009. You may continue to make recommendations for non-polling awards at any time
Recommendations may be submitted through the EK Website recommendation form, or to king@eastkingdom.org and/or queen@eastkingdom.org with a copy to sdoner2@gmail.com.
Kindly note the following regarding recommendations:
You do NOT have to be a member of an order or have a specific award to recommend someone for that award.
The Order of Precedence and the information on specific awards are on the East Kingdom Website (www.eastkingdom.org). You will also find a form to submit award recommendations on the site. You must register to use the form.
4. Now, follow this very carefully:
Their Highnesses are also accepting recommendations for their first pollings.
Read carefully.
Their Highnesses will be posting Their first polling by July 24th, for discussion at Their Order Meetings which will take place at Pennsic War (meeting schedule to be posted at a later date). The deadline for submissions is July 17, 2009.
In order to avoid any confusion with Their Majesties third polling please submit all recommendations to prince@eastkingdom.org and/or princess@eastkingdom.org with a copy to dlondres@optonline.net. Please do not use the Online recommendation form for this polling.
