A special day in my heart . . .
Sep. 11th, 2009 11:54 pmAs the minutes tick down, I would be remiss in not noting that Sept. 11 holds a special place in my heart.
It was 26 years ago today -- a Sunday evening -- that
artisticphoenix and I were lucky enough to bring the first of our two daughters into the world.
I remember the U.S. Open being on, and an NFL game too.
But most of all I remember being handed Theresa Marie, maybe a couple of minutes old, and thinking to myself, "Don't drop her, you big dummy."
I cannot describe how my heart swelled at that moment.
I love you, T.
Edit to fix the math.
