1. In Ipswich, Mass., some Folks on treadmills don't want to watch Fox.

Massachusetts Y pulls -- then returns -- Fox News.

2. This is one of the reasons I love high school football. Go ahead, read it. It's warm and fuzzy.

Wyoming town of 384 people hosts first football game in 56 years.

3. Liam gets out on a Friday night and covers football. Not anything special, but it's by me. (For Albany folks, Colonie's the school across the street from Flights of Fantasy.

Streaks sink Garnet Raiders

4. OMFG. Sex in the North Country!

Swingers' group upsets Thurman neighbors

5. A solidly reasonable article on polyamory from The Independent. Leave it to the English press to get it right. The headline wasn't all that good, but I did like the subhead.

It's the age-old story: boy meets girl, boy marries girl, boy meets another girl and they all live together happily ever after.

6. Since I have been working on this post for more than a day now, here's my other story from the weekend.

Witches blank Salem

7. OK. It may be the last one listed, but you need to read the piece a sports columnist decided to do based on the woman who was kidnapped for 18 years. Just terrible decision-making. As my dear friend Rufinia, who pointed it out to me, says, "WTF?"

It doesn't sound as if Jaycee Dugard got to see a sports page.

There was a story on the front page of the local paper last week that talked about discrimination.

It also included a graphic showing a poll done by the Pew Forum on religious and public life.

It's a simplistic question, so please look at it that way if you choose to answer, You may define "a lot" as you wish.

The results of the national poll were:

I feel there is a lot of discrimination against . . .

Muslims: 58 percent said yes
Jews: 35 percent
Evangelical: 27
Atheists: 26
Mormons: 24

Also,

Gays/Lesbians: 64
Hispanics: 52
Blacks: 49
Women: 37

(I know Discrimination is spelled wrong in the poll title. I cannot change it).
