1. Please welcome
krazyfiberkat,
sasha_khan and
demonorangel to the Liamverse.
2. I am, by the way, a huge fan of Dr. Martin Luther King's. I taught his speeches and his life a lot in U.S. History.
I am also a big fan of the national holiday in his honor, because we spend the weekend in Vermont, and I have a ton of stuff to do. I am getting some of it done now and will do some later.
3. Another job I didn't apply for. This goes along side the Zamboni driver and the morgue attendant.

Tattoo Artist & Piercer Wanted
FT/PT for new Tattoo Shop.
SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY!
Experience & Portfolio a MUST!
Call 518-696-9962, 917-518-0457, 347-860-1067 for interview.
4. So far, I have started the dishes, paid some bills, taken the recycling back, gotten the oil in my wife's car changed and gone grocery shopping. I have to cook, clean the house and pay more bills. ;) OK, update, took a nap and started the lambloaf.
OK, I have not completed "Post LJ entry," but I also have made the pork chips, the spinach-cheesy eggs and am marinating the stew beef in ale. I did more dishes, too.
5. We avoided almost all of the snow. This was one of those strange, "southern" storms that had a bulge in the middle. I know Springfield, Mass., got six inches. There was only a dusting on the truck this morning.
6. SCA notes:
I thought that 12th Night was fabulous! Their Majesties wanted to have a very active event, and it was. Feast was very good, and the local group really pulled together. Nearby groups also came in and helped. The site could definitely handle a Crown Tournament.
The Cookie Caper made $345.
Bu the way, it's official that Crown will be May 8 near Montreal.
Also, award recommendations are due to Their Highnesses before Feb. 1. Use prince@eastkingdom.org and princess@eastkingdom.org .
7. No matter how you feel about the Coakley-Brown race in Massachusetts, after tomorrow, we're going to see some major political changes. If Brown wins, they are going to come a lot faster. But no matter what, considering how close this race is, I believe the Republicans are going to turn the momentum around this November, which is *at least* two years earlier than I expected.
