My friend [livejournal.com profile] dulcinbradbury is looking for a ride from 12th Night to Arisia on Saturday.

Is anyone going back that way. She'd love to get right to the hotel, but getting her on the T with instructions, would be great.

I am sure my wife will correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think I have been to an SCA event since Coronation.

I am very excited about 12th Night and about Birka as well.

Some things on tomorrow.

1. There are a number of chances to do some pretty cool volunteering.

If you have never heralded a list before, you oughta try it! Even I can do it. The K&Q Heavy Weapons Champions Tournament starts at 11:30 a.m. You certainly do not have to stay for all of it. Stop by the list by 11 a.m. and see Master Ryan. He'll take care of you.

2. I know they were also looking for folks to help at Gate, and it would be great if you could check in at the cookie table, too. I might need soem help.

3. Please bring money and buy cookies. There's going to be a lot of good stuff.

4. I will be  teaching "Liam's favorite SCA Songs" and "Writing People In For Awards." I think those classes are at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. respectively. I will have extra handouts.

5. There will be a pelican meeting and a Laurel meeting after court. If you are not coming and you have commentary or thoughts, please send me an e-mail. I expect there will be some discussion from Their Majesties about the number of folks returning their polls.

6. I will definitely have more music than I will be able to play in class. I would love to get together with people and play more.

7. Queen Brenwen wants to auction off two seats at high table (for folks who have feast seats already) for the Travel Fund. There will be a clipboard with the bid sheet.

Please stop and say hello to me.

In service,

Liam

I will admit, one of the things that frustrates me is that LJ does not handle long, threaded discussions well.
I know some folks have stopped reading the first thread because it's getting time-consuming.

Let's re-start here and open it up to everyone, including those who are active in the EK discussion.

I know I have found it hard not to comment, but I really enjoyed somke fo the directions the thread took.

After some initial pruning and an overall comment, I stepped back, though I know I accidentally commented at least once.

Thanks for everyone taking part.

I have enjoyed reading spin-off discussions in other folks' journals too.
