PLQ Freelancing is open for business!
May. 18th, 2010 12:23 pmThis is partly a catching-up post and partly an advertisement, so bear with me.
While I continue my hunt for a full-time job, I have had a good bit of luck with freelancing assignments over the last two weeks. I am doing at least one story a weekend for the local daily, and now that it's playoff season, I will be out at sports events, too.
I am working on a multi-story and photo package on the 50th anniversary of a local car dealership for a weekly newspaper nearby, and last night I did a resume workshop for a couple of friends.
This morning, I got an IM with this question:
"Liam, are you still doing resumes and stuff?"
The answer is "Yes!"
The "stuff" includes resumes, cover letters and job-search help.
I am also doing newsletters, press releases and any kind of letter you need written.
For those who do not know, before I was laid off, I worked at the local version of the Unemployment Office, doing "resumes and stuff."
Please tell your friends. Tell your enemies. Tell you friends' enemies.

Thanks!
