1. My first task this morning, after getting up from the mattress laid out in the dining room, was to clean the bedroom so the landlord could come and fix the leak in the ceiling directly over the bed. Our landlord is rather conservative, so there were various items and books that needed to be relocated.
2. My next task was to clean out under the sink and mop up, because the plastic drain pipe under the sink came loose while I was doing dishes. I was doing dishes to make the kitchen cleaner because he was coming over. Now, at least there's an excuse for the stuff on the counters.
3. The cats are so pissed they are ignoring me. This is a feature.
4. There's a new guy on the local mailing list with shiny plans to make things "better" More about that later, but I am trying to be patient.
5. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon with a new Primary Care Physician (we last year, but didn't realize until earlier this year just how long it would take to get an appointment), with all the fun *that* entails. Then I have a baseball game (which I enjoy usually), probably in the rain and samp tonight.
6. Tomorrow begins with an 8:30 interview for a project I am doing, then proceeds to a 10:30 a.m. interview at a local arts group for a part-time PR and volunteer coordinator. I also need to write a letter to the first real local teaching opening I have seen. It's at a school I am familiar with and would rock.
7. Meanwhile, two major projects and two resumes on the docket, which I am trying hard to clear by the end of the week.
