Question about fund-raising event

If we were to hold a beer tasting for our Polar Plunge team at Davidson's, would you be interested in coming. I am think of samples of four or five beers, plus appetizers.
What's a reasonable price. knowing that the proceeds go to the Special Olympics?
How would Thursday, Nov. 18 or Friday, Nov.. 19 work?
Would it increase/decrease your chances of attending if it was at Brown's in Troy?
