Yes, cross-posted from Newsroom and Journalism

But this time I corrected the spelling of "fascinated."

I am really looking forward to the Doonesbury fallout today.

I am fascinated to see who ran it and who didn't.

I have to admit, I was surprised when I got my Boston Globe this morning and there was white space, some text explaining why it was not there, and a (Globe) website to see it at. (I just hit Google News to find out that Green Bay News-Chronicle didn't run it, and Tallahassee did.

Both ran explainers.

The Green Bay one: http://www.gogreenbay.com/page.html?article=125417 is really well-done.

Tallahassee is here: http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/democrat/news/opinion/8496151.htm

A Providence Journal article said the ProJo and Dallas Morning News would run it. Mobile (Ala.) ran it, too.

I thought it was a very powerful comic.

Of course, Get Fuzzy just depressed me because I am a Red Sox fan.

What did your local papers do?

Of course, Get Fuzzy just depressed me because I am a Red Sox fan.

PS: Explainer for those who haven't seen it. B.D., a regular character, loses his leg in Iraq, and one of the lines today is "Son of a bitch."

I've taken to reading both Get Fuzzy and Doonesbury through LJ feeds. They come in color every day, and Doonesbury wasn't bleeped.

Doonesbury didn't feel very relevant to me for the last five or six years: the characters that I cared about were largely absent or doing things I didn't care about. I'm glad Trudeau has turned back to the more serious side.

Where can I get info on those LJ feeds (and others)?
