1. How can you tell that Liam does not care for a particular beer?
When his review is: "It's great for steaming mussels!"
2. You know that part about the SCA having all the interpersonal dynamics of kindergarten?
Yeah, well welcome to our monthly collaboration meetings at work.
Everyone wants to do everything needed to help the yutes in our counties.
Everyone wants to do it his/her own way.
3. It's Wednesday! Dial up your Internet Radio!
4. I love weather forecasts up here. The ice never came. Now they are calling for snow Friday, so my weekend Yute Conference might be called off.
5. Next up, after I finish the wonderful "In The Company of Soldiers" is Barack Obama's "The Audaciuty of Hope." Oughta be interesting.

Date: 2008-03-06 01:56 am (UTC)Also, I've had beer that's gone either to the snail-bait pile or the hair-rinse pile right after I've tasted it. I have a six-pack or two in the cupboard that folks have brought for parties and didn't bring home, that stay there because I need to control snails somehow.

Oh, we got tickets for Great Big Sea in Toronto in July.
It's at the Molson Amphitheater.
Front middle section, maybe 15-20 rows back, small in the middle.
Cannot wait!

Date: 2008-03-06 02:00 am (UTC)I once appalled an entire SCA Interkingdom Brewer's gathering by tasting a lovely clary wine and announcing, "Oh this is amazing! I want to poach some pears in it!"
