Monday evening: Half-days, naps and such. . .

1. Since I had worked a very long day Thursday driving to and from a training, so I had great plans for what I would do after leaving at 12:30 p.m. I came home and napped. ;) That was not the plan. I was just incredibly overtired and stressed out. I actually turned the computer off and went to bed. ;)

2. [livejournal.com profile] alethea_eastrid had a wicked headache, but she felt better after the Toscano Solution, which involves cold liquids, tea, ibuprofin and a hot shower. A nap is sometimes necessary as well. I also added comofrt food -- grilled cheese with sharp cheddar, and a bowl of tomato doup.

3. If you are able to donate something for this Saturday's East Kingdom auctions at Coronation and have not contacted me yet, it would be great to get an e-mail to bill@goonbox.com.

If you are dropping an item off, please see me or Duchess Christence. I will likely be in the vicinity of the Royal Room, and Her Garce will be at the auction table. If you have sent a maybe message already and want to firm up, please let me know.

Thanks for the great response!

4. The Pulitzer Prizes were announced today, including a special award to Bob Dylan.

5. More later, I hope.

Napping is underrated. I'm finding that sometimes, a little quick shut-eye is more precious than a truckload of diamonds.

Gene Weingarten got a Pulitzer. Peregrine Fairchilde and I are huge fans.
