1. Welcome to ~redtyger and ~rosinavs.

2. [livejournal.com profile] alethea_eastrid is at her parents' in Maine. We have caught up. I cannot wait to see her tomorrow night.

3. I feel badly for [livejournal.com profile] evilnicola. Amtrak was supposed to send her on a bus home, because they were not going to run her train. (We knew this). Something happened, and they sent her on a cab to Springfield. She got off there and went with a friend.

4. The day started cloudy, but turned out to be gorgeous.

5. Tomorrow, I have to go to the company's annual meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday I have a therpost appointment at 5 p.m., and Friday I am having a sleep test. Actually a re-test for new readings. We know I have sleep apnea.

#5 - have you tried "Breathe Right" strips? They seem to work great for me.

I am on a full-blown mask. Have been for a while.

This is to see if we need to change the pressure.

As someone who has had a mask for a long time, getting it was the best thing for my health ever. I just got the pressure changed and it was a huge improvement.

The first thing I noticed when the pressure was off was that I was always hungry.

By the way, if you want to do Pennsic, I wrote up what I did using a big-ass battery that worked out great. http://firebreathnchkn.livejournal.com/12416.html

I have done Pennsic for a long time, with various methods.

Now, I use a commercial car battery charger, which goes for about $60 or so.

A good charge will get me two nights.

Both Tristan and Elias have methods for powering the masks and I thnk they get more than 2 nights out of a charge. Talk with them perhaps.

I get three nights using my old Bi-PAP, I am guessing the C-PAP I might get five. I use a heavy battery and an inverter to get AC.
