Do you believe in miracles?????

I do!!!!!

That was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. Delicious.

Of course, it couldn't be easy.

More tomorrow.

Wow. What A Comeback, and finally a game that wasn't a nail biter. Though I squirmed a bit when Pedro let things to for a bit.

O.K., so The Sox beat the Yankess to make it into the World Series. So, who are they losing to... er... playing in the Series?

Either St. Louis or Houston (with Roger Clemens).

Those two teams play tonight.

World Series starts at Fenway Saturday night.

That's true. But at least acknowledging you have a problem is the first step on the long road to recovery.

No, I don't. But as it turns out, it didn't take divine intervention for this comeback. The Red Sox entered the ALCS a better team than the Yankees, and managed to overcome adversity in a very satisfying fashion, because they had the right stuff: a willingness to always stay in the moment, and see what was in front of their noses, and act on it.

It was exciting (if you're a fan of the game); it was historic; it was very satisfying, once the nerves all calm down; but really, the big prize is still in front of them.

Hurrah!!!

I would have liked to watch the last four games, but I didn't. I know superstitions are silly, but the Yankees won each game I watched, so I stopped watching and limited myself to the ESPN highlights. The Sox kept winning after that, so I kept not watching and every morning I woke up to news that they'd won.

Frankly, even if it's just a superstition, it was better for my blood pressure (and I got more sleep).
