Staying home is a lot like working . . .
Sep. 5th, 2007 05:30 pmOK, I am ready to go to a job now. ;)
So far my day has included:
Calling the Massachusetts certifications folks and finding out, basically, I am still certified there. I just need to upgarde if I ever want to come back.
Calling the New York state certification folks.
Calling the local BOCES office a couple of times.
Doing a pre-interview over the phone, but probably not making it through.
Filling out the New York certification online.
Filling out the Vermont certification.
Filling out the BOCES substitute stuff.
Going to the local school to get substitute application.
Looking at some job boards.
Corresponding with an editor and a sports editor about part-time writing stuff.
Making corn chowder.
Getting the eggplant ready to cook (peeling and slicing).
Giving the cats gooshy food.
Dealing with getting transcripts from the two colleges I attended.
Finding out about New York state testing.
Doing the dishes.
Who knows what all else.
We do have an armchair!
