At the time of this writing, it is 10:40 a.m.

So far this morning:

The truck would not start, and Alethea could not kick it just right.

Frank The Mechanic drove by on his way to the garage.

He kicked it and it started (I didn’t have it in neutral).

We made arrangements to have me bring it in Thursday, and he’ll replace the fuel pump, which is under warranty.

(Backtrack: Last night, a woman backed into Alethea’s car and sheared the mirror off)

The insurance guy call and said we’d probably be responsible (both cars were moving), and that our deductible is $500.

Called Frank. He’s gonna get an estimate and do the car next week.

I took Alethea’s coffee mug and when it tipped, I thought it was empty, and it spilled on some of my (not overly important) papers.

I forgot my lunch on the counter.

I have been getting some work, including resumes I need to finish for the summer program, done.

My boss called me into her office when I got in and thanked me for working so hard lately on the resume project.

This weekend’s football games are as close to the house as they can be. The night game is Cambridge and Greenwich, maybe 10-12 miles away. I think it is the closest lighted field.

Tomorrow afternoon, Lake George at Salem. There’s no way to cut through the back, so I have to walk a couple blocks.

Dinner two nights running, by the way, delicious spinach-cheese burritos made by my wife, and there's another left for tonight.
