The school at which tomorrow's East Kingdom 12th Night event was to be held has informed the site coordinator the school will be closed down because of a forecast of a serious snow storm.

EK 12th Night will be held next Saturday, Jan. 17. There were no other viable options, and Their Majesties apologize in advance to al-Hafla and the Kingdom of Acre.

I would ask you not contact the event steward with any issues until next week. Things are very hectic right now.

We will have a week to make sure everything comes off as well as it can.

If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please contact me at liamstliam@gmail.com

I do not have posting access to the household list or the Ladies In Waiting list. Could someone pass it on, please?

Thank you,

Master Liam St. Liam

I taught there from '91-'00. In '89, I was still stuck teaching in Byers, on the edge of the Eastern Plains, and commuting from Aurora. (There was a glut of teachers in the state then.) I was in Caerthe from '83-'91 when I taught in Byers. I was a member of Caer Galen when I earned my degree at CU, graduating in '83. Then I returned to Boulder in '91 for the BHS job, the last year BHS was a three year. I was kingdom seneschal of the Outlands from '89-'92.

You know Jean Hodges, I bet! :) I saw her last about three-four years ago when she and her husband were visiting England; I met up with them in London and we went to the theatre together, as might be expected. I taught English at Boulder High, btw. (I teach English to the English now. :)

Wow. Yes, I remember Jean. :-) Good to know she is doing well.

There was one teacher I had for three English classes my senior year ('88-89). I think her name was Copeland. She was kind of tough, so she said she felt sorry for me. ;-) I don't know if she was still there when you were, but I liked her.

Donna Copeland. She was fantastic. Yes, I knew her. I inherited the Shakespeare class from her when she retired in the mid-'90s.

Nice. :) That was one of the three I took that year. Yeah, when I think back on the good teachers, I think of her first.
